End of a busy week for Swift Trails. Fabulous being part of the Tweedlove Bike Festival. We've seen 18 riders through the women's skills workshops, 9 at the bike maintenance workshop and finished on a high in the most dramatic summer evening light with 7 at the social ride. Now for a sit down! June 2017
We're super-excited here at Swift Trails to be running the womens skills classes at the fantastic Tweedlove Bike Festival on Wednesday 31st May - classes for beginners and intermediates will be running at Glentress Forest. To make the sessions even better we will be joined by the lovely Lucy Grant, one of Scotlands up and coming XC mountain bikers. In fact Lucy is pretty much comfortable on any bike you throw at her and has amazing skills and experience to match. As well as the top coaching available we will also be throwing in a few cakes for good measure to ensure this event ticks all the boxes.
What a fantastic turnout for the Swift Trails social ride today - lost count at 30!! Lovely to see so many out on what was a pretty miz day. Clearly the cake is a crowd puller and heartfelt thanks to Louise Cumming who put on a "great spread" as we say in Yorkshire. Really must get the recipe for the Bakewell Tart. Quite, quite scrumptious!! Thanks Lou.

It's not everyday you get to ride with a world champion mountain biker! Huge thanks to Tracy Moseley for joining us yesterday on a seasonally wintery ride as part of the Peebles Outdoor Film festival. Top tips shared and a bit of bike set up advice too. Awesome!
Swift Trails is delighted to be a sponsor for the Peebles Outdoor Film Festival for the second year running. A fantastic event that is now becoming a firm fixture in the Peebles calender.
