The MTB trails at Innerleithen are renowned for their technical downhill routes that attract bikers from around the country and beyond. However in addition to these extreme trails there is a variety of high-end Red and entry-level Black routes that can challenge and entertain in equal measures.
With the recent introduction of the Adrenalin Uplift shuttle service you can ride all day without tiring the legs.
This course provides a good mix of guiding and instruction. During the course of the day you will ride several trails and get the opportunity to session a variety of features such as steeper gradient, tighter corners, drops, rocky and loose descents. By the end of the day you will be familiar with several trails that you can return to ride with confidence and trail-knowledge.
Is this course for me?
You are comfortable riding red routes and tackling all the features on these trails including rocks, roots, mud, steeper descents and drop-offs. You feel you are ready and have the confidence to go off-piste! You have heard about the trails at Innerleithen but not sure where to start – which trails to choose and how to find them!
The course includes a day pass with Adrenalin Uplift
Every time you book a course or activity with Swift Trails we will donate £1 to either the Tweed Valley Trail Association or the Tweed Valley Bike Patrol.
We enjoy and benefit from a wonderful community of bikers here in the Tweed Valley who volunteer their free time to make sure the trails are maintained and safe to ride. They depend on voluntary contributions to continue their valuable work.
Tweed Valley Bike Patrol
The Tweed Valley Bike Patrol provides visitors to Glentress and Innerleithen Forests with the advantages of local knowledge, bike repair skills and emergency assistance from a team of skilled riders.
Tweed Valley Trail Association
