1:1 coaching allows you to tailor sessions to meet your specific needs and interests.
Individual sessions last 2.5hrs.
Group sessions with 2 or more people last 3hrs.
We will contact you to arrange a mutually suitable date and time for the coaching to take place.

We had a fantastic morning with Lucy on Wednesday, she is an excellent teacher with a passion for her sport and an endless amount of patience! Lucy was quick to make us feel at ease and tailored the lesson to our needs. We are novices who now know the basics of how to ride a MTB and have fun on the trails. We will now look forward to returning to Glentress and putting these skills into practice. We would recommend Swift Trails to anyone keen on Mountain Biking, from novices to the more experienced.

I really enjoyed my 1:1 session with Lucy. I hadn’t done mountain biking for more than 30 years and had recently got an electric mountain bike so I felt I needed some basic skills training to make me more confident. Lucy assessed my riding then spent some time on basic skills before we did some of the trails. The instruction was very clear, and focused on what I wanted to get out of the session. She also gave me advice on setting up the bike e.g. lowering the handlebars to give me more control. I would recommend these sessions. Beautiful surroundings also!

Just a quick email to say thanks for yesterday, and to let you know that we both got so much out of it.
I think your tuition technique is spot-on. For example when we were doing the session riding down the 2 meter rocks: you explained clearly what the position should be, demonstrated what the effect would be with the wrong positions, then actually rode down the rock a couple of times to demonstrate. All communicated in a calm, methodical way which gave me confidence. That’s exactly what I hoped the session would be.
We both felt the session was perfect for our standard and skill-level, and I realise you must have to tailor it every time and be reactive on the day, which must be a real challenge.

Great confidence building session with Lucy, going back to basics in the skills area and then applying what we had learned on some trails. Nice and relaxed and well paced, but covered loads and we definitely got a lot out of it.
