On the longest day of the year, what could be better than riding with a group of like minded buddies, finding a vantage point with 360 degree views and sitting a while to take it all in?
Our summer solstice ride-out starts in Innerleithen and climbs to the summit of Kirnie Law where a derelict concrete structure, once a pumping station for the mills in the town below stands incongruously on the hill-top. A choice of route follows with one option down the famous "Flat White" built specially for last years Shimano Enduro or a gentler descent down some waymarked trails back to the town below.

Start/finish: Carpark - Innerleithen Football Club - Hall Street
Start time: 18:45am for a 19:00am start.
Distance: 12 km Time: 2hrs plus stops (9:30pm)
Terrain: SIngle-track, forest roads, public highway.
Technical: RED & BLUE option Fitness: RED
