Who we are

Lucy Husband is an MBLA  Mountain Bike Leader and British Cycling Level 2 Mountain Bike Coach. There's nothing she likes better than taking off on her bike and exploring the miles of trails which criss-cross the Scottish Borders. Green rolling hills, beautiful river vallies, extensive forests and open moorland are just some of the features which characterise this amazing landscape.

Lucy also runs FAST - First Aid Skills Training - with business partner Katy Carrick-Anderson, delivering first aid training to businesses and individuals in the Scottish Borders and across Scotland. She has attended child protection awareness training and is a PVG Scheme member in respect of working with vulnerable groups.

Swift Trails is delighted  to announce a new coaching partnership with Elite Cross-Country MTB rider Lucy Grant. Lucy is a familiar face here in the Tweed Valley – having grown up in Peebles and an active member of Peebles Cycling Club.  Lucy is an awesome rider - makes everything look effortlessly easy but also extremely modest about her achievements and a natural coach with bucket-loads of empathy. Amongst her many successes to date has been her 2nd place at the 2015 British Cross Country Championships Under 23
