Swift Trails was founded by Lucy Husband to meet the needs of the growing number of women enthusiastic about mountain biking and was the first women specific MTB guiding and tuition company in the Tweed Valley.

Aware that some women can feel intimidated by the stereotypical picture of mountain biking – which tends to be characterised by a culture where speed and technical challenge is everything- Lucy wanted to dispel this myth and get women out into the countryside to enjoy the “simple pleasures” of being outside in nature, with friends and family, keeping fit and mentally healthy.

To support women feel more confident on their bikes, Swift Trails run monthly guided ride-outs, a womens MTB group, MTB skills courses specifically for women, family fun days and bike maintenance workshops. Join our Facebook group and keep up to date with what we’re up to!
