Want to meet other riders who share a love of riding? Then come along to our weekly Wednesday night sessions for a fun, and sociable evening of biking.
During the summer months Swift Trails meets weekly on a Wednesday evening to ride in Glentress Forest and on natural trails in the local area.
During the winter months we continue to ride at Glentress Forest using night lights to maintain our fitness.
In 2016 we have competed in the Bowhill Duathlon winter series and also had teams entered in Tweedlove's Glentress Seven event and The Chase - MTB orienteering. In September we took a group of riders over to Cathkin Braes, Glasgow for a Scottish Cycling XC coaching event.
We are currently meeting at Glentress Forest on a Wednesday evening at 7pm in the Falla Brae carpark, next to the Go-Ape cabin.
We also run a calender of monthly ride-outs. Look at our ride-out page for more details.
If new to the group, give Lucy a call in advance so she knows to expect you. (07425 146 853)

Let me tell you what I think of bicycling. I think it has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world. It gives women a feeling of freedom and self-reliance. I stand and rejoice every time I see a woman ride by on a wheel...the picture of free, untrammelled womanhood. ~ Susan B. Anthony American civil rights leader and feminist. 1896
